Creation…

So what have I been doing for so long since the last post?

Sure, I have my excuses – work, life got the better of me, etc.

Honestly, there’s just this feeling inside me that always whispers “if you want to get it right, you need to do it well”. The case of being a perfectionist – paralysis by overanalysis.

As much of an easy going a person I am – I admit I do suffer from perfectionism – especially in things I care a lot such as my writing.

But as I was reading one of Leo Babauta’s Zen Habit – Simple Guide To Minimalist Life. There was one section where he reminded readers, that they should concentrate on creating – rather than worrying about the outcome. The act of creating and creating momentum is the way to go.

The same reason why – I admit I did not even progressed from page 1 for NaNoWriMo.

My lizard brain kept waiting for when “the time is right”, when my mind is “in the mood” and other such shananigans.

A reminder that sometimes its the little steps to the right direction that makes all the difference.
