Conservatives are sometimes no fun.
People are generally weird. So they should not be calling me weird. To each their own.
Everything in life has a price. The question is are you willing to pay the price for what you want.
We all have different priorities.
I am still not too sure what I want to be when I grow up (and I have already been working for 1 year). They always say, “find your passion and pursue your passion with all you got”; I am not too sure on what I want. I just know that I want a job where I get to travel, meet a lot of people, see different cultures and have a good time. Erm, anyone know anything that’s even close to that?
I did some day dreaming on the way back, I really want to start a wellness centre. I want to change where and how people have a good time. Now, people like to go clubbing because its “trendy”. I want to change that to my wellness centre (which includes a mini spa, vegetarian cafe, mini gym, mini library, mini media centre, relaxation corners) that enables people to really recharge themselves. I mean, why spend your money drinking and inhaling second hand smoke when you can still have the feel good feeling in a more positive environment, healthy food, good company (sincere people that really care for you), pleasing sounds, pleasing sights (minimalist design, etc.), and good spa session and light gym. Face it, we just want a toned body, and not being muscle builders, so I guess my little piece of oasis in the city will provide that. Plus, good company. Where you will feel accepted, whole and where everybody is a friend. A really supportive, friendly atmosphere, the occasional live music, play performance, poetry recital, etc. I want to have a place where every client will feel special. Where you can just hang out and feel really good and take a meaningful experiance out from the place. Where your birthdays are celebrated along with everyone else. Where you can meet like-minded people seeking better experiances. Its a place where there’s always something else. A place where you come out and go, “Gee, that was different, but good different, now I am all energized to do everything I want to do”.
That would be my ultimate dream. Creating a feel good atmosphere to counter what is currently the prevailing “culture”. Perhaps even craving my own niche from being the first in this.
I have always been a “revolutionary”, a rebel from the ordinary. I take pride in that despite many people telling me that such ideas don’t work in the real world.
Next month would see the bonus period. I hope it will be good. Competitor companies seem to be paying A LOT. We’ll just see. Meanwhile, I will just have to be content with what I have and where I am.
This is the classic example of little grasshoppers getting tooo much ahead of themselves.

“Making your way in the world today takes everything you’ve got.
Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.
Wouldn’t you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name…”
Cheers ftw.
Damn nice concept, dey. I was thinking for me something along the line of a coffee shop where you can seat leisurely, read a book, paper or whatever. More relaxed and less snobbish than Coffee Bean and Starbucks and whatnot. I feel like I have to dress up to go to those places. wtf. Economically bad la but giving people peace of mind is much better. Have to work out something for the noisy patrons though.

When you are a rich doctor you can fund my little piped dreams. Haha.
Need to dress up in Starbucks? I always see the Westerners going in their shorts like their grandfather
s cafe.
Its a place to relax. Spa like. So I think the patrons will be of less concern because its so serene to begin with. Definitely different quarters of the establishment will satisfy different crowds coming for the same purpose and that’s what I am aiming at.
I think most people are secretly lonely. So the friend for hire concept is definitely a big crowd puller. Take it as friendship prostitution…just less degrading and more positive.
